Green Country Division Thanksgiving and Veterans Appreciation Luncheon

We had 48 members a friends present.  Golden Coral in Muskogee catered a very delicious lunch of turkey, ham and all the trimmings.  Buford Branson our World War II veteran that we sent to Washington DC to tour the memorials, was there to share his trip.  Many members shared their stories while in the military. 

We presented the Horizon Hospice Bizzy Beez their “Member(s) of the Year” award.  These volunteers help our chapter in many ways, they volunteer at our fishing derbies, Bass tournament, Green Country meetings and help raise funds.  They are very worthy of this award.

We selected our Christmas family, a young mother of 3 whose home recently burned.  Our group will supply non-perishable food items.  With the money collected we will purchase any needed clothing items or perishable food.
